FAQ's

How much do your services cost?

We bill on an hourly basis most of the time. Every family will receive a custom Care Plan to meet their needs and budget.  Rates will depend on the level of care provided, which will be determined during the initial needs assessment.

Who pays for your services?

Most of our clients pay for services privately. We also accept many Long Term Care Insurance providers. We accept checks or credit cards.

ElevateHealth has relationships with many companies who either fully reimburse or partially reimburse for home healthcare. Typical accounts for reimbursement include reverse mortgage, health savings accounts (HSAs) and flexible spending accounts.

Veterans Aid is also available to Veterans and surviving spouses who require our services. We can assist you in qualifying for this benefit.

Are your services covered by Medicare or insurance?

Medicare  does not cover ongoing, long-term non-medical caregiving at home. Depending on Medicare eligibility you may qualify for skilled, intermittent Home Health care paid for by Medicare. This is generally a short-term benefit and requires the need for care by a skilled clinician, such as an RN or physical therapist. In this case ElevateHealth: Home Health Services division is available to provide care.

What are the billing procedures of the agency?

ElevateHealth normally bills weekly to ensure accuracy.

Is your Agency licensed?
ElevateHealth operates a Califonia state-licensed home health agency. All skilled services and oversight are provided under this license.

Why should I use your service instead of hiring someone myself?
All of our caregivers are employees, not contractors. We pay their payroll taxes, liability, and workers' compensation, and bond, decreasing your liability and risk.
Our employees are carefully screened and trained, so you don't have to worry about the quality of your caregiver. They receive ongoing instruction and oversight from supervisors who are trained in the care of elderly.
By using our service - you ensure ongoing service. we have backup caregivers ready to step in if your primary caregiver is ill or has an emergency.

How do you select your caregivers?

Our caregivers are screened before hire. Please see the '
Our Caregivers' page for additional details.

Are your caregivers insured or bonded?
